Dr. Charles Straughan

For Dr. Charles Straughan, dentistry is about more than creating beautiful smiles — it’s about helping people feel confident, cared for, and comfortable every step of the way. With over a decade of experience, Dr. Straughan brings a calm, friendly energy and a perfectionist’s touch to every patient he treats at Orchard Lake Dentistry.

Originally from Georgia, Dr. Straughan earned his Biology degree from the University of Georgia before graduating in the top 10% of his class from the College of Dental Medicine in Augusta, GA. He went on to complete a General Practice Residency at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, where he sharpened his skills in oral surgery, root canals, and treating medically complex patients.

Today, Dr. Straughan combines advanced training in implant placement and IV moderate sedation with a genuine passion for helping patients overcome fear and rediscover confidence in their smiles. As a proud member of the American Dental Association and the American Society of Dental Anesthesiology, he’s committed to staying on the cutting edge of modern, comfortable, and minimally invasive dentistry.

Outside the office, you’ll find Dr. Straughan making the most of life with his wife, Jessica, their son, Grayson, and their daughter, Charlotte. He’s an avid golfer, loves to travel, and is always up for a good adventure — whether it’s exploring new places, discovering new courses, or chasing down his next great story.

Dr. Noah Vroman

Dr. Noah Vroman is an associate dentist at Orchard Lake Dentistry, where his mission is to provide exceptional, family-focused dental care in a welcoming environment. As a general dentist, he is committed to helping patients of all ages achieve healthy, confident smiles through personalized, compassionate treatment.

Dr. Vroman earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine School of Dentistry. Originally from Erie, Pennsylvania, Dr. Vroman is proud to make Charlotte, North Carolina his home. 

Dedicated to staying current with the latest advancements in dentistry, he regularly pursues continuing education to bring modern techniques and technology to his patients.

At Orchard Lake Dentistry, Dr. Vroman’s philosophy is simple: patients come first. He takes time to listen, explain treatment options, and create care plans tailored to each individual’s needs and goals. Whether it’s a routine checkup or more advanced treatment, his focus is always on comfort, trust, and long-lasting results.

Outside of the office, Dr. Vroman enjoys spending quality time with his wife, traveling, and exploring new recipes in the kitchen. He is proud to serve the Charlotte community and looks forward to building lasting relationships with every patient who walks through the door.
